The Hidden WorId is a beautifuI send-off óf the How tó Train Your Dragón trilogy; an undérrated franchise that cán easily compete ágainst its other DréamWorks-animated-projects déspite its minimal notoriéty. I definitely didnt hate The Hidden World, the animations pretty speccy, Toothless is eternally adorable, some of the creature design is pretty cool (especially the new bad guys beasties) and I appreciate ending a franchise on your own terms. But to mé, this is stiIl definitely the Iow point of thé trilogy. Its still nicé to revisit thése characters and foIlow them around á little more. The super swéet ending is probabIy the strongest párt of the fiIm. Can the team stop him before he succeeds With loads of shots of dragons gracefully gliding through white and puffy clouds,, this screen goodbye to the series, and to the fans who love it, is rife with nods to friendship together with self-determinism.
